About PASHRM - Our Mission, Values & Goals
The mission of the Philadelphia Area Society of Healthcare Risk Management is to promote
and increase members’ knowledge of, and proficiency in, healthcare risk management
and promote members’ professional growth by:
- conducting educational programs
and activities on healthcare risk management and related topics;
- providing a medium
for the interchange of ideas and dissemination of information relative to risk management;
- providing a forum on healthcare risk management issues which can be used to explain
the impact of these issues to other appropriate parties; and,
- developing curricula
and materials to support educational activities relative to the field of healthcare
risk management.
Members of PASHRM develop professional relationships among members
in order to facilitate free exchange of information and solution of mutual problems
and bring about close cooperation among individuals of varying disciplines in risk
