PASHRM New Member Application

Membership shall be open to those individuals who are employed in the field of healthcare risk management, those who are employed in a field related to healthcare risk management and those who possess a bona fide interest in the field of healthcare risk management consistent with the objectives of the Society.

An active member is any member who has attended at least three (3) Society meetings during the calendar year. Active members may be nominated for any office of the Society, may nominate others for office, may fill a vacancy in any office of the Society and may vote in elections of officers. Active members may serve on any committee as a member or as a committee chairperson.

Application for Membership and Renewal

Any individual, who meets membership eligibility criteria mentioned above, may apply for membership in the Society by completing a written application provided by the Society. (mail to address on the application) Applications are reviewed by our Membership Committee to ensure that potential applicants meet eligibility criteria as written in the Bylaws (as well as no conflicts of interest.) Renewals are reviewed to ensure that they are members in good standing and still meet criteria The Membership Chair presents information at the Board meetings for the Board to vote. Applications are reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors at their monthly meetings. All decisions made by the Board regarding membership in the Society shall be final.
