PASHRM HISTORY

PASHRM, the Philadelphia Area Society for Healthcare Risk Management, was established in August of 1980 with 25 members.  Originally named the Delaware Valley Health Care Risk Management Association, the organization doubled its membership over the next five years, and meetings went from quarterly round-table discussion sessions to monthly educational presentations.  In 1997, the Chapter changed its name to the Philadelphia Area Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and proudly serves members in multiple disciplines from across the region.
